Secret Files Tunguska, the interactive mystery thriller, is considered a genre classic on account of its high-end graphics, attention to detail and fascinating blend of history and fiction. The game revolves around the hitherto unsolved Tunguska catastrophe of 1908.
Protagonist Nina Kalenkow’s searches for her father Vladimir, a high-ranking scientist who goes missing from his Berlin laboratory. The deeper she and her friend Max dig into the matter, the more obvious it becomes that Vladimir’s sudden disappearance is somehow linked to his expeditions into the Tunguska region – a remote part of Siberia that was devastated in the early 20th century by a gigantic and still unexplained explosion with the detonating power of more than 2,000 Hiroshima bombs.
During their investigation, Nina and Max collect clues and solve puzzles in such exciting locations as Berlin, Moscow, Cuba, China, Ireland and even Antarctica. With the Russian intelligence apparatus and a zealous secret society at their heels, the two adventurers soon find themselves at the heart of a global conspiracy of epic proportions. And the closer they get to the truth, the more they put themselves in danger.
