The Last Door: An Interview with Indie Developer The Game Kitchen by Ray IveyThe Last Door Chapters 1 - 3 Review by Scott Alan
Mark your calendars, lovers of Lovecraft! On May 20th, a Collector's Edition of the Lovecraft-inspired horror adventure The Last Door will be released for PC, Mac and Linux.
This low-res, high-suspense point-and-click adventure has received multiple Best Game of the Year awards and has been hailed as "a love letter to H.P. Lovecraft." The Collector's Edition will feature all-new puzzles, scenes, and stories, as well as enhanced graphics and remastered sound.
All four critically-acclaimed episodes of occult and otherworldly horror as well as new content and unlockable bonuses will be included in the Collector's Edition. Players will journey alone into the dark to stop an ancient evil from stirring in the shadows of Victorian England, with only a lamp and magnifying glass to guide them.
“The Last Door Collector's Edition represents a great milestone in the trajectory of the project since it represents the fruit of more than a year of hard work and efforts,” says Mauricio Garcia, Project Manager. “We feel ourselves really lucky to partner with a publisher like Phoenix Online that seeks to bring indie-developed games that focus on rich storytelling and atmosphere to the worldwide market, and this philosophy perfectly matches the one behind our beloved game."
