Fresh 3D is asking for your help to bring the classic game Outcast into the modern age of gaming as Outcast Reboot HD. The indie developer has already raised over $110,000 of its $600,000 goal in the first 24 hours of its Kickstarter campaign.
The 1999 action-adventure for PC was one of the first 3D games to feature non-linear story, free-roaming environments, reactive AI, symphonic music and more than 20 hours of gameplay.
Everything will be redone, and Fresh 3D intends to produce a highly polished game that will meet today's high-quality standards. At right is an early prototype screenshot (1080p @60 fps).
