New York City's Rosangela Blackwell has an inherited ability that enables her to communicate with recently deceased spirits. She considers it her responsibility to use this skill to help lost souls find peace, although it's often a painful process.
Rosa is helped by a spirit guide, jazz-era spook Joey Mallone. Still, the weight of her responsibility has grown heavier through time.
In The Blackwell Epiphany, Rosa and Joey will face their greatest challenge: saving themselves. A force more powerful than they've ever faced is ripping apart the souls they're trying to help right before their eyes. In this provocative series conclusion, the duo must fight for Joey's soul and Rosa's sanity.
From indie developer Dave Gilbert, the Blackwell games are old-school point-and-click adventures. "I always knew how Rosa and Joey’s story would end, but figuring out how to get there was a challenge. Every lesson I learned over the last eight years has been put to good use. This is the last Blackwell game and we’ve given it our all — it’s longer, more detailed, darker, and more atmospheric than any of the games that came before it. I can’t think of a more worthy note to end on."
The entire Blackwell series, starting with The Blackwell Legacy, will be coming to iPhone and iPad this Spring.
