Spiderweb Software announced today that their indie role-playing fantasy game Avadon 2: The Corruption will be releasing for the PC and Mac on October 30, with an iOS version arriving sometime early next year. In this sequel, players will have to protect their homeland from an evil rising empire as rebellion and conflicts prevent your people from uniting together to fight back.
With an alliance shattered, players are alone in the battle to unite Avadon. However, players can choose to restore power to the realm, or join the rebels and forge a new nation. For this adventure, players can create a character from five different types, including the new Tinkermage class. Each class has dozens of unique spells or skills suited to the player's playstyle, with Avadon 2 having an incredibly large world in which to find secrets, artifacts, and more to increase their abilities.
Avadon 2: The Corruption will allow players to experience multiple different endings, and ultimately have them choose to save their homeland or let it fall.
