News: 39 Days to Mars Kickstarter Campaign is a Success - February 13, 2014
39 Days to Mars is a coffee-break game, great for short-session playing. Further, the game's two lead characters, Sir Albert Wickes and The Right Honourable Clarence Baxter, lend themselves to co-op play. It's the 19th century. Accompany the two characters as they travel to Mars onboard a spaceship called the HMS Fearful. The ship has been designed and built by the brightest minds of the day.
Our two characters aren't exactly the brightest anything, and they aren't really qualified to operate a spacecraft. This is where you come in.
You must keep the two explorers alive during the trip by fulfilling their every need; you must also keep the spacecraft from falling apart and take care of any problems that may arise. You soon discover that steam power isn't the best choice for interstellar travel.
It will take all of your talents and a bit of luck to get both pilots to Mars in one piece.
