It starts with mysterious sounds in the sky. After their origin is revealed, you end up in a world that's no longer human.
You must find a way to survive, and unravel the mystery behind an alien invasion nightmare.
The Hum will be very different from those cloned shooters, jump-scary games and "walking" simulators. It's still in its very early stages, and a lot can change. But the aim of the developer is to give you "the best alien experience you will ever have."
The game is being developed on Unreal Engine 4 and will support Oculus Rift. It will be released on PC, Mac, Linux and possibly consoles, at a date TBD.
A Kickstarter campaign is in progress until September 30, 2014. If you like what you see, please consider supporting The Hum. And while you're on the Kickstarter page, be sure to listen to the three creepy hum samples.
