Indie developer Endnight Games Limited has released more new screens for its upcoming Oculus Rift-supported survival horror game The Forest.
Members of the Endnight team have worked on effects and animation for such projects as Tron: Legacy, The Amazing Spiderman 2 and the Twilight films. They're pushing Unity 4 to produce some of the engine's most striking visuals, using cutting edge volume lighting effects, parallax mapping and vector-based motion blur.
The team is also using realtime technology to create a realistic and harrowing vision of horror. In The Forest, players will encounter the most believable creatures ever seen in a video game.
An alpha version of the game will be available on May 22, 2014.
