A point-and-click adventure game with a mature "RPGesque" storyline from indie developer Crashable Studios
January 20, 2014
The vision of Crashable Studios is to make a point-and-click adventure with a retro feel (think Quest for Glory, Roger Wilco, Monkey Island, etc.) using "old-school" resolution, but with a unique epic twist. The game will also feature hand-drawn characters, backgrounds and animation.
You play Alum Descry, who lives in the city of Cosmos with his wife Esther. Lately, she has become despondent and uncommunicative. There are rumors that a malady called The Vague is sweeping through the city.
As Esther's condition worsens and more people are afflicted, Alum fears for both his wife and himself as he feels his own heart growing cold and hopeless.
Accompany Alum on a quest of epic proportions as he searches for answers, finds a much deeper force at work and ultimately discovers who he is and what's really happening.
Alum has been successfully funded through Kickstarter.
