The opening of the San Francisco Bay with the world-famous Golden Gate Bridge was a symbol of freedom for many people. Cynically, prisoners of the infamous Alcatraz could enjoy a beautiful view of this monument from their prison yard.

Take your place in that yard as Joe, who is serving a long stretch for armed assault and robbery and needs to break out in order to recover the spoils of his crime. He's the only one who knows where they're hidden.

There are a few problems. Joe needs his wife's help, and she's being threatened with death by his partner Mickey if she doesn't come up with the swag. It doesn't help that every underhanded character in the area is also looking for it. And no one has ever escaped from Alcatraz.

In a story filled with twists, choices made by players will directly affect its course and outcome.

(Pssst! I heard a rumor that the Birdman is in this game.)

Features:
  • 90 hand-painted locations, based on research of San Francisco, North Beach and Alcatraz.
  • Over 20 3D-animated characters
  • Clever puzzles and dialogues by Gene Mocsy, the co-writer of Ghost Pirates of Vooju Island.
  • An atmospheric score by Pedro Macedo Camacho (Fairytale Fights, Ghost Pirates of Vooju Island, A Vampyre Story, Audiosurf).
  • Non-linear plot
  • Alternate endings
