has anyone tried the on-line "adventure" Cybertrek?

www.simplecodeworks.com/cybertrek/go.html

I have to admit that it's addictive. Though I'm not sure if the $500 bonus attracks me more than usual.

Anyway, I don't think it's a "pure" adventure, the idea is that youwill learn how to program in "simple", developed by the same author.

But trying to solve all kinds of mathematical puzzles using computer-programming techniques is fun.

I'm now really stuck in chapter 6. :-/

I tried it, but I don't like the idea of programming with that Simple language.
I don't want to code anything.
Did anybody finish it by now?
It seems to have seven episodes. That is incredibly much judging the second episode which I reached and than gave up.

An interesting diversion...

I've got to the bedroom safe in Level 6 about a week ago, but haven't been able to progress past that point.

I've done a little SIMPLE programming, but have solved most of the puzzles in good old Excel.
I'm Moo-Moo the cow, I eat lots of hay....

I now understand why no-one has finished it, the final chapter (7) won't be uploaded until January 1st 2003!

For everyone who's stuck, I recommend to look at the faq; there are numerous useful tips.

By the way, I'm using matlab most of the time, since its easier to use a language you already know...
