But can't you say "The ending to BLAH BLAH game was terrible!" .... that doesn't give away endings...

| Deleted User | Anybody who wanders into a thread that declares that it is about the endings of games and then cries because they find out the end of a game....
*sigh*
In the USA, Parrothead, it is now the law that soft drink machines have to have a sticker warning people that it is dangerous to tip the machine over onto yourself. The little packets of silica dessicant that come packaged with electronic equipment (to soak up any potential moisture) have to be labeled "O NOT EAT!" Personally, I'm sick of the attitude that people who are reasonably bright have to run around protecting other people from their own stupidity.
In other words, anyone who wanders into this thread and is disappointed to discover the ending of a game is revealed got exactly what they deserved.
Just one man's opinion.

I mean, someone stupid enough could try to eat it. As for the soda machines however... did you ever try tipping one? It requires concerted effort of several strong persons (I know because I helped move a soda machine). If someone manages to tip a soda machine over onto themselves even after realizing how awfully heavy it is, I'd say that's just natural selection at work.
I forgot my sig.

That, and a awful case of lawsuit if the sticker was not there

The romance between Grace and Gabriel was not part of the main plot, they left it open for an eventual GK4 (smart move) it's not a real cliffhanger like in Tex Murphy: Overseer.

Actually, anyone who even reads a review of Syberia 2 knows how the first game ends.
I miss my Bubba: 1986 - 2006.

But they are both, in their own right, great endings. The first is all about her coming to a junction in her life and making a choice, also based on the characters she met. They are all pursuing their dreams in one way or another.
* spoilers. US-only, Europe go at your own risk - * the kosmonaut does go to space, the factory-manager does meet up with his love of a lifetime.
* end of spoilers, US-citizens, read from here - *
So, I felt that Syberia is just about right.
And no, Mr. Sokal is not working on the third installment, but on some other game (of which I forgot the name, Paradise something.)

That pleases me. I don't think he could've made another Syberia (if I look at the difference between 1&2, I'm not sure of my trust in 3).. though wasn't he thinking of keep using Kate Walker? More no reasons to go down there and things that are sttttuckh!

Kate Walker is out of the loophole too, as far as I have heard. So there's no need to go down there anymore.
It might even be a first person adventure, as Sokal made with the (wonderful) Amerzone.

And Avatar - Syberia and Siberia are two VERY different things

I played it two times and the ending was great. It had a lot of problems with the load and save but other than that I hope they make another one as I thought this was a pretty good game even with the few problems it had.
