Status : Online | I can't get the adulterated oil! When I speak to the stranger in the saloon, he just tells me to go away. The bartender won't engage in conversation at all! All I can say is "I have to go" and he replies "I have to stay". Anyone else have this bug?

1. i am at the school, i spoke to that little girl and i cant seem, to find Billy(the boys) tree hut hideout place!
2. I have ran out of carrots for that horse. yes i have looked in the desks, and there is no carrots to be found!

It does sound like a bug, that shouldn't happen. I'd suggest restarting the computer, updating your vid drivers, make sure you have the newest directxc installed, starting over from different saved game, and if none of that works to restart the game...

Status : Online | Have you exchenged the robot oil for the oil you can buy from the smuggler? If you do this its dead easy. I read all kinds of faq's for winning the game, but I didnt have any problems with it whatsoever. Just concentrate, and you can get up to 40 hits per round

Status : Online | Hello... I have now played WANTED most of the weekend .... I cannot dry the wet jacket !!! I have 6 pieces of split logs, I have the matches, I tried a lot of things (all dialogues). When I try to use split log with split log in fireplace he says: I'd rather not, when I try to use the jacket with the stand he says: I think I should light the fire first ! When I try to use matches on split logs he says: I don't want to do that !!!! Now what ? I tried 50 times by now..... please help me... :'(

Status : Online | This is probably the most demanding part of the game (there's another action scene later, but I managed to beat that rather easily). I myself was also frustrated by the shooting game. I tried lots of time and could never go more than 20-22, the problem is that you should reach 30 at the fourth round, go figure... I was almost helpless, but then I read a review, which pointed me to the trick.
First, before starting talking to Fairman, save. Exit the game and start again, but don't click on the play button, click on config instead. Lower the resolution to the absolutely minimum, I think it is 512x384. Load the saved game. It will look awful, I know... Click on menu, go to Settings and boost the mouse all way up.
Now, you are ready. You will immediately notice that you will be able to shoot faster and more accurately. I managed to go up to 35 during all rounds this way. Take also note that the red bad guys appear on a sort of clockwise rotated manner. Concentrate and I'm sure you'll manage!
One more piece of advice: before starting the shooting game, change the robot oil with the can that you got from Willy at the saloon. This way, it will break and you avoid the fifth round, which as far as I remember asks for 50 hits! I was desperate, because I had not enough money to get it, and in the beginning I thought that I had to stop after the third round each time, so that I collect money, go back to the saloon, buy the oil and come to the fair again to play.
Then, I noticed a hint in this forum that I could get a loan from the bank instead! You will have to prove to the banker that you are staying in the hotel, but this is another story and you will find the hint how to do it in this thread, too, if you miss it.
I just finished the game, and all I have to say is that it is fabulous. I enjoyed it very much and I laughed loud with the outtakes. There are few glitches here and there, but except for the shooting game, I never got annoyed.
Oh, and not to forget, make sure you buy all three newspapers from the store. They will help you a lot in finding clues for other parts of the game...

Status : Online | Could someone give me a hint on where to stand in the pond (to kick the trout into the basket)? I tried the middle facing the basket on the beach, and I keep kicking it to the wall on the opposite side (even though I'm facing the basket).. :-/
