Yes, I agree, this game is really fustrating even though it gives me the creeps!  
Okay, it's 1:15 am here in France, pitch black outside and I can hear the occasional cry of some creature (I hope it is ONLY an owl!!
)

Anyway, I found the button to open the bottom drawer of Drake's dresser and I jotted down the COLOURS of each number of the code... Never know, might come in handy later!  :-/
Apart from that, nothing...  :'(

All possible combinations for a specific 4 digit number, i.e., the 4 digits are known are "only"  4x3x2x1 or, 24, which the player listed above.  We were working with just the 18 and the 24 from the back of the portraits.

Actually, there are 10 digits to use (0-9). All possible 4-digit combinations are 10 ^ 4 (10,000).

I re-read Drake's journal. He speaks of numbers on April 25th (no good that did me). I also tried the year the lighthouse was built (1890), the current year (1912) and several other hunches that proved to be useless.

I'm getting tired of being in this room.

I can't find the combination but I found something.

After you found the lower drawer's drawings , You can use the ladder behind where you turn on the additional emergency light switch..

I think I've found the answer,  it's nothing to do with the code in the wardrobe or even drakes room I found it thanks to giekhiel.

I went down the ladder to the left of the additional emergency lighting switch on the outside of the lighthouse. the path around looks just like the small map found in the drawer of drakes room.follow it around  there is a cave up the next path with barrels and boxes in it's quite tricky to find, inside the cave there is a small cavern I went through the cavern and strange things happened  this game is getting creepy.  after ages of thinking I was stuck I went back outside and found myself in a totaly different time at the lighthouse and it was daylight. I haven't had time to explore yet I have to go out but I hope this helps everyone. happy exploring everyone.

You beat me to it giekhiel! I just logged in to let you people know about this place! There're a few things to do, I found a harpoon for instance and noted symbols with Roman numerals. Also you can use the disk (not much good though, just gibberish  
)

Oh dear I think I just answered Snatcher42 question we're stuck again now  >
this is getting silly I've never had this much trouble with an adventure game before, I find myself going over the same places for hours on this one. but I've found that if you look at every angle of every screen you tend to find stuff you missed tedious I know

so far I have found 5 roman numerals (two the same for the number 1) money for  the telescope a harpoon  the door lock on the lighthouse, used the disk, looked at the haunted radio  and pulled most of my hair out. any ideas greatfully recieved. this one has me really stumped.   [smiley=hair_pull.gif]

Once you commit to coming to this place, you cannot return through the cave you came from.

The only roman numerals I found were in the bathroom (under the sink), and on the lighthouse (through the scope). Where are the other 3 roman numerals?

The door to the building at the top of the stairs has a new code lock. Whether in the Drake's room or here, one of them needs to be cracked. Once again, we are stuck.

the code for the shop door is in the small stand between the cafe and the platform with barrels...

GOT THE CODE TO DRAKE'S SECRET CUPBOARD!!! But since we can't go back to the "old" lighthouse (yet anyway), this place being the place of the future, I can't check it out.

Here is where I am now. I talked to the woman behind the staff door at the top of the lighthouse. She gives you a map. Something is circled. Go get it. Once you have it, there are 2 places to use it (that I have found so far). One in the lighthouse and one in the cave. I can't tell what to do with the numbers that appear. Has anyone figured this nonsense out yet?

my english not good ! hope you guys can understand ~~

code to the light house (year 2004 , not the old place) is 5582 (there have 8 button on the door)

5 roman numbers i found is I,III,IV,VI,and L

at the door "staff only" with some padlock with number ~ you can see insite of the hole ~ and some one will asking you a question ~~ you can click the hole left or right to choose hit the door once or two times ~~

(the answer is once at the frist (left), and 2times 2rd (right))

and she will give you a map at the bottom of door

you can get a glass at the radio place (behind the chair )

the simbol of the roman numbers can decode the box on the top of the light house , you can get a radio .....(dun know what , just something missing on the radio) and a map of how to set the radio.

after setting the radio (besure you have the glass 1st)
you will see three set of code ....................

then ~~~~~~~~~~~ im stuck ~~ haha~~

...a stupid picture of reeds in water. There was mention of this earlier in the game; something about how the water was green with reeds (before the lighthouse was built). I think this is the "happy place" for the ghost before the lighthouse was built.

Roman numeral I is under the sink in the bathroom. III is on the lighthouse (through scope). V is in the ex-coal room (where the folding chair is); looking out from the room on the arch, in the black, on the right. Nicely hidden. Still haven't located the others.

It looks like completion of this game is going to be a joint effort, it's nice to find a forum where they don't tell you to get lost and do it yourself, theres  a very nice atmosphere here.  anyway in typical style as soon as I finish writing I am stuck I play the game again and find new things

there is a roman numeral if you look through the binoculars at the top of the lighthouse, there is also one behind the bell outside the room with the woman hiding, I have the glasses ( behind the chairs near the door in the radio room) and have found a few spots to use them, basicaly re examine everything in the lighthouse and other places and so on especialy things to do with wolfe the youngest keeper I don't want to give too much away but things are getting very strange and creepy. good luck everyone

OMG this game backing to the future~~ Cool Man ~~ but i getting so blur

some good new here when you got the glasses ~ there have many thing can use it to "see" and "hear" more things ~~

like: the monk statue (in 2004 world),

the kichen picture (picture in 2004 world , after using the it you can click the picture to travel back to the old kitchen, Cool huh?)

the 9 picture near the radio (only 3 can use the glasses) one of it can travel to a place (dun know where , some kind like the gourp how make this game home, dun know ~ just guess)

and after using code R3782 to open the 1921 year of the DRAKE'S SECRET CUPBOARD , inside also have a picture can travel to some way ~(i not yet go)

after you got the glasses you just walk around and see everything ~ if the glasses blinking then just use it ~~

O ya i got get to tell you guys ~ i got another roman numeral in the 2004 world where the big light and a chair putting (old coal room), when you sitting on the chair you can see the door right site is dark ~ there is the other one ~

Don't go to that picture with the reeds... That is where the end of the game plays out. There's another floppy disk there and some crazy vessel in a cave you can easily get lost in. The ghost tells you he isn't ready for you yet. There are some poles with numbers on them in the area.

Lots to see and do yet in the current world before going back pre-1890.
