This game was a chore to finish because it was soooo bad.  It is supposedly set in San Francisco for no obvious reason.  The writers apparently have english as a second language spelling and grammar were strange.  The female lead had a strange French-Canadian accent that was very off-putting.  They were trying to compare themselves to TexMurphy(my favorite series) and they were not even close.
The "zany" humor never even elicited a smile and could not be bypassed in any way.  The 2-D artwork was poor and in some instances bizarre. (police officers in gym shorts and tank tops, Huh?)
The only thing I did like about this game was the goal icon.  Upon pressing it, a hint as to the direction to be followed is given.  This is unlike some games where you wander aimlessly trying to figure out what the quest is.

isturbing references were made about an upcoming sequel.  Yikes!!!!!!!!!   Sela

Oddly enough, I am playing this game and really enjoying it!  I haven't gotten too far - I'm out of the lobby and I've just met a big cast of characters.  It took me a little bit to figure out the navigation, but now I have it.

I'll let you know what I think of it, as I get more into the game.
Regards, mszv

I am really enjoying it too. I've just set up appointments to begin my investigation. It's a real pure adventure. There are some things that aren't obvious but there is a G (for goals) that tells you what to do. I have always loved an in-game hint system.
I have a bunch of games started and this is the one I keep loading up.
I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder (wow, original huh)

Sorry, to hear you didn't enjoy the game, Sela! I'm sure there are other reasons as to why Bob enjoyed the game so much.

I've seen this game slammed before - everything from graphics to story line.

From what I've seen (and read in reviews)  it looks to be a fairly good game.  And, for the life of me - I just don't get the objections to the artwork.  Is there something different about the posted screen shoots and the actual game?

What?
