Status : Offline | i saw the adventure shop and i find the prices ridiculous... $30-40 for a dload? i don't think so... boxed copies go for those prices, and, being boxed, i get a nice box and a booklet and everything... let alone sometimes you can find boxes for less than that (walmart carries the awakened for $19.99)... dload may be ok for some ppl, but prices equal to the full retail box ones are, imo, a rip off
You have gotten the attention of the mysterious lady. She turns to face you. Her face is devoid of any flesh. You are frozen with horror as she begins ripping your body into a bloody mess.

Version 4 of the original MUD that ran on the Essex University DEC PDP-11 back in 1978 is now free to play (it's been free for a while, but no-one seems to have publicised the fact!).
Head over to www.mudii.co.uk and sign up for a FREE account and get exploring, treasure hunting, monster (and/or player) killing, puzzle solving and try and get your persona up to Wizard (or Witch) at which point you get to be able to control the running of the game!
See you there!

Status : Online | Hello everyone!
Excuse me for my English: I'm not so good...
I'm new on this forum.
I apologize if I get the wrong section for this message. If they deem it appropriate, administrators can move it elsewhere.
I'm an Italian fan of the LucasArts adventures, and all related fangames.
I love LucasArts fangames, and I'm trying to collect them all (from the various countries of the world), but it is very difficult to find the oldest ones.
I refer especially (but not only) to those of the old famous sites. Do you Remember them? For example, there were "Fangames.co.uk", "Spectacular Monkey Island", "HeavenSoft", "ouble Hard Monkey-_", "Adventure Pit" and so on ...
The old sites are no longer online, and also where can I find some interesting references, it happens then the links and downloads do not work, sigh ...
I am interested in complete games, but I'd also have the demos or trailers, or some information (author, date ...) even if some game has not been completed (I'm insatiable!)
Is there anyone among you who still possess them, maybe in some old backups, or in an old PC in the attic?
I miss some games more 'recent', too. Maybe Later I'll try to ask if you want (I could prepare a list of what I need).
If you need, I have also different LucasArts fangames to send you (do you want a list?)
If you are kind enough to send me what you find, you could possibly upload what you have through Megaupload or however you like.
If you prefer to contact me personally, my e-mail is: bye.pulciniverdi@libero.it
I thank you in advantage...
Ciao
Paolo
