But Tim Curry is a real actor, a REAL ACTOR!!!!!!!!!!!! That's rare!
But BTW, aren't we talking about ACTING, and not VOICE ACTING?
I'd nominate TEMUJIN in that category.

Status : Online | 1) Tim Curry imo is a bad actor
2) There are many real actors in games, it's not that unusual. We have had Dennis Hopper, the guy who played the scientist in the back to the future movies, Mark Hammil from Star Wars, 3 other actors from the Star Wars movies will play in Zelenhgorm, a very famous Swedish actress has made the voice of April in the Swedish TLJ and more and more and more...
But anyway the fact that he is an actor does not mean that he's a good one, nor that his voice suited Gabriel.

But......Dennis Hopper was in Black Dhalia I believe and really bad.

Shenmue 2 - a game that cost millions to develop - has voice acting so autrocious that it makes some of the dubbed Godzilla movies seem like Shakespeare. You honestly cringe at the voices that come out of some of the characters mouths.
#2 though would have to be the Orion Conspiracy. Unbelievablly cheesy and pornographic dialogue hammed-up by a roomful of William Shatners wannabees.

Tim Curry as Gabriel Knight; sounded like he was a Southern redneck on "downers".
ALL of the characters in Schizm.
Dennis Hopper AND Terri Garr in Black Dahlia...both acted as if extremely bored with their roles...and made it come true for the player.

In Black Dahlia, Dennis Hopper gave one of the worst performances I've ever seen anybody give in any medium.

| Deleted User | When it comes to voice acting, I'm surprised that no one has mentioned King's Quest 5 yet. But in that particular case it's mostly just cute. I mean, in-house Sierra staffers with no voice acting experience made all the voices in the best way they could. How can you not love it?
The very first lines in the intro immediately sets the standard for the rest of the game. Who can forget it? :
Josh Mandel as Graham: "My castle, what has happened!?"
Richard Aronson as the infamous Cedric: "Ooooh, I know what happened."
Classic!
