Customer (on the phone ordering a game): Yes, um, I'd like to order Schnitzum. Do you have that in stock? Order line: What? Um, could you repeat that? C: You know, Snizzum, the new puzzle adventure game. O: Snopfzium? No, I don't think we have that. C: Of course you do. It's really popular. Haven't you heard of it? Skooziuhm or maybe it's called Skitzum. How about Snipfzim? O: Well, let me check. How do you spell that? C: S-C-H-I-Z-M. O: I'm sorry I am not allowed to sell you that game until you pronounce it correctly. No exceptions. C: But, that's not fair! O: Those are the rules. Take it or leave it. C: Well, I'm just going to have to write a letter about that. O: Well, you could try again. It's not that hard really. Think. C: Okay, um, Squitzum? O: No. Goodbye ...click... The end.

You know, this proves my theory. People are idiots, and society is pandering to them rather than encouraging people to become more intelligent.
Are they going to spell 'mysterious journey' phonetically too? Because, you know, mysterious is quite a hard word to spell. And maybe they could make it shorter, so that people don't have to write out all those letters. Cuz all m letterz r annoyn 2 me, u no?
Blah. I remember when companies made games to challenge people and encourage them to think, not pander to the slow-witted populace.
The world is pathetic sometimes. Reminds me of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. Pah.
Non-surprisingly, it kept the name 'Philosopher's Stone' over here in the UK. Mainly because of the author's wish, but also because the UK is a smaller country with a smaller population than the US, ergo less idiots. Additionally, the fact that historically and mythologically there is no such thing as a SORCERER'S stone.
Maybe I should join the Illuminati. Their theories on placing the intelligent people as rulers and having the dumb people used for vivisection sound more and more appealing each day..

You got to figure that as well as complaining about the difficult name they were also asking for directions to open the Schizm box.
I don't even want to think about what will happen after that, when they try and put the round shiny things into the big boxy thing with the lights and the buttons.
They do say that no one ever lost money underestimating their audience. Sad really. :'(
