Status : Offline | No it's definitely not random, you just have to be careful to watch when you release the mouse to throw the dart and take note of the graphs at the bottom and sides. You only control your own throws - not you're oponents.

If I remember correctly you control the direction of the arrow by hitting space key at the desired point of an advancing horizontal progress bar, followed by a vertical bar... or was it a vertical followed by an horizontal? Either way, you basically have to plot the x and y axis to determine the target point.
