There are lots of small jokes in BS3.

Status : Offline | Interesting factotum: In June 2004 issue of Computer Gaming World, retrospective mini-reviews gave Broken Sword 3 four & and a half (out of 5) stars and Gabriel Knight 3, one and a half stars. Hmmmmm. Consider the source I guess.

The future ain't what it used to be!

Well, if people have nothing better to do in Broken Sword 3: The Sleeping Dragon, it just shows how horrible the game really is. Personally I fail to see what's so funny and/or entertaining.

Wasn't any real relevance Ana- was just 'an interesting factotum'.
Actually, I had just read those reviews and the next minute, here was a thread on BS3. It was occurring to me how wierd some of the regular computer magazine reviews are compared to what we read on this forum. It seems that some have really liked BS3 and some like yourself hated it. On the other hand, I think GK3 has been liked overall more than BS3. But here the magazine gives GK3 1 1/2 stars while it gives BS3 4 stars!

The future ain't what it used to be!

This is a rare incident where I actually agree with the reviews... I loved BS3... but have tried (and failed) to finish GK3 multiple times, because I got SO BORED I couldn't even care enough to do it with a walkthrough...
No accounting for taste, I suppose...

| Deleted User | Sorry, I know it's only a question of taste, but how anyone can get bored with GK3? Not to mention you can bypass conversations (Tatally NOT RECOMMABDED).
I mean, even the information-fraught bits of the game are exciting and interesting, not to mention wisely concise. Don't forget the subject matter of the game is huge, and it embodies so many different themes. I think it is almost impossible to make a game of the Renne-le-Chateau mystery, but Jane Jensen proved otherwise.
