Speaking of which, did Lara have a boyfriend in any of those games? I don't think so... makes you wonder.
If someone ever did fall for her, how would they react each time she died? Why, hit the Load key just like everybody else
As for my answer... hmmm.. not an adventure game, but I'd probably say Yu, from "Shiritsu Taisei Gakuen Monogatari" Does that have an English name? I'm not very good with Japanese names I'm afraid...

"No need to go down there!"
I sure hope I'm reading that wrong...
Speaking of which, did Lara have a boyfriend in any of those games? Nope - She's mine and always has been.

I know that she has an ex, in the comic book series. I'm quite a Tomb Raider fan. Or more accuratly, I'm a "historical action-adventure mystery Indiana Jones type of thang" fan
Why, hit the Load key just like everybody else
Doesn't it make you scream or anything when you see the one you cherish and desire succumb to a horrible bloody death?
Does that have an English name? I'm not very good with Japanese names I'm afraid...
Nopenope, it's not even available outside Japan. Blessed imports

Or maybe she's really just faithful to InlandAZ
Doesn't it make you scream or anything when you see the one you cherish and desire succumb to a horrible bloody death? Umm... no. Resurrection is but a keystroke away.

Except, maybe, the girl from the film Akira. My girlfriend looks like her...

Personnaly I dont find her attractive at all. I dont understand how can anybody fall in love with such a hyper-sexualised steril being.
I wonder which adventure game female or male character would have win a world contest in the terms of beauty intelligence kindness

they may be better than film stars (especially film stars of today :) because they are real, whereas for film the actress may get in the way.........

I agree that April was a dog, and so was Grace in GK3. I adored her in The Beast Within though! Come on Panayotis, admit you had a thing for Trevor in Phantasmagoria 2! I also loved Victoria Morsell (Adrienne in Phantasmagoria 1).. I searched for her on the internet, the results were quite amusing. Apparently that video game was the end of a not exactly promising carreer:
Webbers, The (1993)(uncredited) .... Stripper Deceptions (1990) (TV) .... Sandwich Girl Saturday the 14th Strikes Back (198 .... The Vampirette Wizards of the Lost Kingdom II (198 .... Maiden #1

nah, now that it's all been revealed i can say that Aya is my secret amore! :
You have gotten the attention of the mysterious lady. She turns to face you. Her face is devoid of any flesh. You are frozen with horror as she begins ripping your body into a bloody mess.

| Deleted User | I'd have to say Grace from the GK series. Who can avoid being impressed with a woman who puts up with a guy like Gabriel all the time? And Nico from the Broken Sword series.
Why is is that the girls are assigned to all the research while the guys do the action stuff? I think it would be cool with a good game where it was the other way around.

Status : Online | hm, I really can`t say I`ve been in love with any character in a pure adventure game...
but RPG`s yes...I think it`s because you get to spend very much time with them..(I usually use 40-60 hours on a RPG)
The first one was Final Fantasy 8, I got a crush on Rinoa it was the first game I actually cried when it ended.. The second one was Final Fantasy 10, oh Yuna I actually shed a few tears twice in this game...once under the "kissing scene under the water" and at the ending..
yes I really get immersed in games

Status : Online | Hey Lancelot! Do I know you from somewhere...? ??? (Not from the Round Table as a matter of fact... )
Hmm... I think you forgot those beauties of Defender of the Crown... : I just KNOW you forgot them...
Hmm... "Love" for a female computer character is an interesting idea...
First they are not flesh and blood persons - that's obvious of course, but in one novel of William Gibson (I forgot the title - Mona Lise Overdrive maybee) one of the characters fell in love with a virtual porno star (an AI of some sort). But I must say, that I felt quite attracted to the Final Fantasy movie heroine. It may be not a game (not a very good film either ASMF), but I think that it had the most attractive animated female character so far... (Female posters: did you liked the male characters in the FF movie?)
Secondly, computerised heroines as a LEAD characters are given a male role: they kill people, they are fearless, or, if it's an adventure game, they are using their brains to solve problems, and usually that"s a male role. I am not sexist, just pointing out, that helpless woman may be more attractive to us... That's why some people may feel April Ryan, Kate Walker and of course Lara Croft not so feminine. I personally think, that Lara Croft may have two beautiful breasts, but because of her Indiana Jones, gun smoking, cruel persona, she's just not feminine enough...
Having said all that, of course, I have my fav' computer game heroines too...
1. Kate Walker of course. She's just my type of woman: intelligent and very sexy in her way. Maybee a bit cold, but I like woman, who are a bit cold. 2. The black haired girl in Defender of the Crown 3. Julie Strain in Heavy Metal FAKK 2 (NOT the real person...) 4. Cate Archer from NOLF and NOLF 2 5. The heroine of Rocket Ranger. (I forgot her name, it was Kate... something) The liked the original artwork showing her legs. : Some more, I forgot...
I am not in love with those, but they are great female lead characters: Maria in Silent Hill 2 Best female to be attractive AND creepy at the same time Alice She's kind of creepy but have our simpathy at the same time
