Talking about non- adventure, are we?

If so, the first Lands Of Lore has a great intro as well...

It had a great ending as well - the old witch was a b^%$h to beat.

What?

I've enjoyed the whole game, actually

Come to think of it, LOLwas the only non- adventure game, I've ever enjoyed :

Speaking of an adventure game intro, Indy Jones & Fate of Atlantis had a fantastic intro. It hooks you right into the game, and also shows you in a cool way some locations you'll be visiting later.
Now the question is: which games have the most memorable endings?

Both Full Throttle and Grim Fandango had cool intos but I think the best ever has to be The Dig.  Also dug Fallout's and Discworld 2's.  Having a drunk wizard and an ape playing with explosives is the only way to start a game.  ...bysmitty

Cruise for a Corpse had an amazing intro - except for the terrible English translations. ("Tomorrow morning" supposed to mean "The following morning", urgh.)

Don't worry about my brother. 'Delicate' is the last word that could be used to describe him.

Just trying to be PC (politicly correct, and not what you, gamers, thought
)

Oh, and Ksandra, I think Crapstorm wants to burn your brother, or something :

Some of my favorite intros have to be
MI3-I had never even played the previous two but i didn't need to with this hilarious and beautiful intro
Last Express-very dramatic and it got me so excited as to what was coming next
Broken Sword-I still have vivid memories of that black screen with George Stobbart's voice saying "Paris in the fall..."The animation is lovely and it drags you into the story where you instantly care about the characters and your objective to find that clown.
It was these three games with their fantastic intros that solidified my love of adventure games. Often i wish that i had not played them yet so i could have that great experience of seeing them for the first time and not really knowing what was coming next, only that it was going to be something good.

See my collection for the answer to your question.  Rack 1, bottom row.  Myst was my 3rd game ever purchased and my first adventure game purchased.  You can see how many adventure games I've bought since then.  My life began on myst island.  I should also get a pic of my myst collection; complete with the boardgame, all 3 hardback books (first printings), all soundtracks, both comics, the coffee table book, the action figures, the pewter sqee, making of and screen saver discs, etc.  Yup.  I like myst.  ...bysmitty

p.s.  -sorry about causing a ruckus with my last p.s.  wasn’t meaning to stir anything up and will watch my phrasing in the future.

Syberia had a great intro... And the most of the Lucas Arts adventures. But the most thrilling of all is the following sentence: "Whenever I smell asphalt I think of Maureen..."
