Status : Online | My girlfriend and I had a week-long argument about #9.
She insisted that it was Everybody Wants You. I thought she was nuts, and refused to guess it. After all, she didn't recognize any of the other fourteen clips. The argument got rather ugly at times.
Now I'm gonna have to lie and tell her it was some song that she's never heard of.

Would that be Requiem? I listened that whole CD last week in hopes of guessing the previous classical clip.
By the way... Who else thought #5 was All Right Now, and #14 was Play That Funky Music?

| Deleted User | Those were my first thoughts on both of those two songs, Grey. I went with the wrong guess on #14 but corrected my guess on #5.

My first thought on #5 was Hot Blooded by Foreigner and I told Bastich that, but I also said it wasn't my 'official' answer yet because I wanted to be sure first. He responded by saying, "Well, if it is Hot Blooded it only makes sense that you 'check it and see', LOL." I thought, hmm, it's fresh on his mind, but quickly discounted it because Bastich has a lot of songs fresh on his mind!
While doing the whole check it and see routine, I started to think it might be All Right Now by Free. I found a nice clip of Hot Blooded that played that particular part, but I think Bastich's version missed a high (or a low) note in there and figured I better not go with Hot Blooded.

I plead guilty to both. Thanks for doing the quiz, Bastich.

errm...not sure what you're talking about, I was thinking about the metal version by Steve Vai (sorry if I've misspelled it, or got the name wrong, I am currently half asleep.)

The Trans-Siberian Orchestra (Savatage) does a metal version of Beethoven's 5th called Requiem.
I haven't heard Vai's version.
