Status : Offline | Capri - A friend is lending me his copy and it's in the mail. I'm looking forward to it. I've been told it's beautiful to look at but confusing even with the walkthrough.
Crystal Key - is this the original? The second one is due out soon. I found it pimitive, but others have said it was ok. Frankly I struggled to finish it with the w/t.
Forever Worlds - people on this forum have complained about bugs and it can be difficult to run, check the specifications. The story line really appealed to me though but it won't run on my system.

I enjoyed Sacred Amulet and wrote a walkthrough when it was called Aztec.
Haven't played Capri yet, have it but been involved in an online game lately so the single player are just sitting here lol

Status : Online | The Crystal Key is a bomb. It contains some good ideas, but it's full of bugs and other annoyances. It's like they never finished beta testing. The pixel-hunting is heavy, and you die quite unexpectedly in a few places. Don't waste your time or money.
The Sacred Amulet is worth the $10, in my opinion. It is very short and easy (took me 5 hours). The story is fun and full of twists. Bad voice acting, though. One of the nicest things about this game is that the setting is very real and archeologically sound. The developers really did their homework.

| Deleted User | I personally liked The Crystal Key, but from an objective point of view there were a lot of things wrong with it. You could see that the designers had put a lot of thought into some of the puzzles and gameworld, but it was spoilt by serious item-hunting problems and a confusing layout. (In one game area especially, you can't tell which way is up.) Nevertheless, there's at least one really cool puzzle. If you can stand these flaws you might enjoy it; otherwise, depending on your tolerance for Myst-clones, you might dislike or hate it. The Sacred Amulet aka Aztec is one of the best Cryo titles I've played; it was fun, easy and short. Oh, and the graphics are pretty. One bonus, if you like that kind of thing, is that all of the scenes are based on actual archeological research. Fun for the whole family!! I've heard terrible things about Forever Worlds, although not all sites have reviewed it yet.

You said it all real close the the way I saw it too. I had to turn off all the programs running in the background before it ran right too and I have 512 megs of ram on my machine. It ran real good though as long as I cleared everything before I started the game though. Did you have to do that too?

If you by "graphics problems" mean that the graphics were blurry, that's fixable by downloading a file from TAC. Having done that I actually enjoyed Crystal Key, although most of the puzzles seemed totally illogical.
I did NOT enjoy The Sacred Amulet (Aztec).

Status : Online | Capri - I didn't like it.  idn't like how it played - like flashcards in a way
Crystal Key 2 - I finished it in 2-3 hours. The game runs a track that you can't get off of. You can't explore. I don't like games that you can't go exploring in. That's part of an Adventure Game, or at least it should be.
Myst IV - Never finished it. Got frustrated with it.&&Myst V - Did not finish it either. Very disappointing.&&ATTWN - BORING!!! Never finished it. Kept falling asleep.&&Paradise - So far .... not so good&&Voyage - Not on my favorite list

Forever Worlds I haven't played, but from what I've heard I wouldn't be surprised.

Status : Online | I had one hell of a time installing Crystal Key. Five attempts before it took, with rebooting and massive configuration changes inbetween. Then, 30 minutes into the game, it would crashed, and I had to change more settings and re-install. Definitely not worth the headache.

Capri - this one is new, but has anyone played it? There wasn't a review.
Capri is difficult, even with a walkthrough. It's very easy to get lost and the interface takes a bit of getting used to.
Forever worlds - this one was new too.
Terrible! Buggiest thing in the world. They must have released an alpha version of the game. Puzzles totally illogical. Interface not consistent.
Crystal key - sale section
Dark blurry graphics with some video cards. Nothing special even when it works right. Sometimes kills you off without explanation of what you did wrong.
Nirvana - sale section
Originally called Road to India. Has some nice ideas in it. Short game though. Fairly easy, like Syberia.
The Sacred Amulet - sale section.
Pretty good. Not too difficult (if I remember correctly).
