Actually, to get inside the house, you need an opening, no matter if you are a cat or any other matireal substance (I hope, I spelled it right [smiley=smile_blush.gif]), so your first guess was the right one (allways go with your intuition, I say )
So, that leaves #1 & #8. Figure them out, and I'll find some more of this
P.S. Elfstone was right. You do not need a ruler to do #8. Now, just tell me what DO you need

If you are realy curious about HOW they do this, and you can read russian, there is an entire website dedicated to this delicat issue But the corect answer is that you just have to pick it up, and then put it back on the ground. If HE runs off, its a male. If SHE runs off, its a female!
The next session: 1) A satellite made 2 laps around earth. One took hour and 40 minutes, and the other one took 100 minutes (the satellite did not changed it's speed). Is it possible?
2) There are 2 heads, 2 arms and 6 legs, but only 4 are walking. What is it?
3)There were 90 apples on the oak tree. 10 have been picked up. How many remain?

1) it's the same, yada-yada : 2) rider and horse 3) unless you put them there, no apples on the oak tree

Something challenging? Well, it's probably unfair because I used to read books with riddles and trick questions as a child and from that time I still remember quite a few. But this last bunch was new to me. I could only guess.
@Michal Answer the question and stop being a wisecracker!
