Yes, it looks like a most interesting game.  Excellent screenshots.

Still adventuring after all these years!

Patiently awaiting The Last Crown: Haunting of Hallowed Isle, and Bracken Tor...

... and Asylum if it's not tooooo scary...

The subject matter of the story is interesting as well.  When you add in the fact that its release is in September I get the strong urge to hug someone.

Deleted UserYes, Glorian. To the best of my knowledge, you are correct about this team.  Hopefully they will do MUCH better this time.

I wouldn't know where to begin...

But you can always read the JA+ review of Druuna here:http://www.justadventure.com/reviews/Druuna/DruunaMG.shtm

And that review is actually quite a lot more positive than most others I've read. I think the game has recieved one of the lowest metascores ever at Metacritic.com.

I found the game in the bargain bin a few months back and it's probably the worst game I've ever played (or tried playing, since I could only stand about an hour of it).

Hope Martin Mystere will be an improvement though, but it's definitely not a game I expect to be good.

here in Canada we have a cartoon that's originally Quebecois (and the basic setting is Quebec though they travel everywhere) called in English Martin Mystery.  It's based on comics by someone I don't know and airs on YTV at 7pms daily

It's done ina  very anime style (the characters transform to "super deformed" for comedy, the backgrounds swirl sometimes) and is quite cartoony and fantastical.  Could this be the same thing??  The screenshots look quite realistic based

Answering my own question--they're loosely connected:

from tvtome:

Loosely based on the european comic "Martin Mystere" the animated series reimagines the title character Martin Mystery and his partner Diana Lombard (now his step sister rather than his fiance) as 16 year olds attending Torrington Academy, a high school in Sherbrooke, Quebec. They work for the covert organization The Centre which like the "Men in Black" secretly protects the people of Earth from extraterrestrial and supernatural threats. Also like the Men in Black not everyone who works for the organization is human.

They've created a special poster featuring Martin, Java and Diana that can be downloaded and used as wallpaper for your pc.
