Status : Online | For those of us who have posted pics, is there any way JA would consider letting us update our pics? Mine is several years old and I wouldn't mind having a more recent one up now that I have a digital cam....(and lost about 10 pounds )
My name is Bethany and I'm the daughter of Gamergal/Michelle.

Status : Online | Hi Jo, I'm glad you liked the picture, thanks. I have had long hair for most of my life, but what you see in the pic had grown back from when I had donated some to the American Cancer Society a few years ago....the hairstylist takes 12 inches off to donate. It grows very fast, so fortunately I didn't have to wait too long for it to all come back. It is a challenge to have it this long, with the kids to run around after, so most of the time, it is in a ponytail or braid.

I have short hair now and a life. And a big box of some really fancy hair clips I can't seem to part with.

Status : Offline | It's pathetic Selina. All my life I had long hair. It kind of defined me really. Even in my dreams I sometimes have long hair. I think it is vanity - everyone always complimented me on my hair. Perhaps I only felt beautiful with long hair? I don't know and I'm certainly not visiting a shrink for the next 10 years to find out. The slides are elaborate and fun and I had so many. (I also have a thing about earrings too but shhhhshhh ....) I also hoard stuff and find it nearly impossible to throw out stuff I've paid for that isn't broken or stuff I've been given that I may find a use for one day.
At the back of my mind is the possibility that one day I will have long hair again. I tried to grow it last year but you know what? It irritated the hell out of me. I hated looking scruffy, kept trying to pin it up out of the way, disliked the way it hid my earrings and worse than all that - it didn't grow anywhere near as fast as it used to.

I've always wanted to have long hair, but my hair is so fine it just breaks if it gets beyond a certain (relatively short) point.
Sweet kids too!

Hi adventuredog, Thanks for the compliments on my picture, and about those sweet kids...Lucas is pitching a fit right now...he can't decide what he wants for breakfast?? No, seriously, they are sweet, most of the time..
Hi Valadmin, thank you very much for adding my pic!
Eva.....I will be awaiting that new pic of you, patiently

My eldest eats pasta every morning with bacon - no sauce. He sometimes eats bacon and eggs but never cereal.
The youngest refuses to eat. It's a battle every day. When we find something he will eat, he eats it every day until he's sick of it and never touches it again. Right now we're on fried rice. I'm not kidding. Every morning I cook pasta for one and rice for the other.

Yes...my son is Mr. Picky Eater....though, I shouldn't complain too much, my daughter eats everything and is not picky at all.
I remember when Lucas ate Peanut butter and Jelly sandwiches every day for 6 mos or so! Now he only eats them sporadially....such is life, hmm? They keep me on my toes. [smiley=laughing.gif]

Actually, I've just been in the archive thread, that's why I'm posting. You can't see most of the pictures in the first 3... I guess, that the hosting in which people put their pics, deleated them.

Just look in the first thread Members Pictures to see all the archived ones.
