I was playing adventure games in a row since January(Broken Sword III, Larry V, Jack the Ripper, Discworld I,II and Discword Noir, Beneath a Steel Sky, Fate of Atlantis, among others), but a nasty bug of "Flight of the Amazon Queen" hold me back. So, I installed my "old friend" Deus Ex and started to play it again. I thought that I would quit before finishing the first mission but couldn't let it go for a five-hour period. Hey, even after finishing it three times now I am finding new ways to infiltrate the facilities and new gadgets to play. I am impressed, really.
My question is: ¿Is there any other game that copies the style and gameplay of DE? I haven't seen it, but I am not a very hard RPG fan, so maybe I missed something interesting. What about Planetscape Torment? Has it any similarities?

Have you played System Shock 2. Made by the same people.

Or Deus Ex: Invisible War - Not quite as good as the first one but still not bad.

Try the Thief games, also made by the same crowd (and available at dirt-cheap budget prices these days).

Sounds like me playing Thief (1 and Gold and 2).  Since I don't have much time lately I have consistently restrained myself from buying Deus Ex.  I need to get it sometime, but my time is adequately taken up by Thiefy goodness when I get the chance.

But it likely depends on what it is about Deus Ex that makes you like it so much.  If it's freedom to do things the way you want, it's probably right up your alley.  But there aren't too many gadgets - just enough.  As Warren Spector put it, Deus Ex is a Swiss army knife and Thief is a scalpel.

Good idea. Thief II is now in the sales desk here, so that would be the right choice. Thanks to everybody for the advice

SS2 is a really good game, tough I think its has too much shooting. Sadly, my machine specs are not high enough to run Invisible War (maybe in the future
