Got this fro AG website.

White Bird Productions (Benoît Sokal) announces first Game Lost Paradise.

It's been years since I took French so maybe someone can translate

I think the gist of it is an adventure in africa. A woman travels the continent with a leapord and something to do with Kilimandjaro ???

However the concept art looks cool even if the concept sounds very Syberia like. AG says mid-2005 release and that they are quoted as saying it will be a P&C but will have some action/adventure parts.

"White Birds Productions' first project, 'Lost Paradise' is an adventure game which plunges the player into the heart of Africa, both timeless and yet modern.  A young woman, daughter of a fierce dictator, travels the continent accompanied by a leopard in order to return it to the place of its birth - the snows of Kilimanjaro."

I get the impression that the leopard was born in Kilimanjaro and want to get home. ?

As you say Lucien, it's been a long time since I spoke french too.
Yes, I'll buy this one even though the story line doesn't suck me in.  I am quite a fan of Benoit Sokal's artwork.   Actually, it may not even be released in Oz.  I'm really going to have to buy via the internet.  It scares me a bit, that's all.

Deleted UserSounds interesting! We all love leapords, especially snow leapords. If snow leapords figure prominently in this game, I may even update my computer so I can play it.

Oh no, not him as well... when will they ever learn? Still, it's good news about the game.

Very interesting. I hope it won't contain too much action.  :-[

Wow! If Sokal ever gets as good as an adventure game designer as he is as a cartoonist, he will work wonders.

Action/adventure... when will they finally bury this nonsensical, confusing term? Why not just tell us gamers if the game is a platformer with a few puzzles or a pure adventure game with some timed sequences?

Well, at this point I'd say that with games like Beyond Good and Evil action-adventure is a perfectly legitimate genre- there are always going to be borderline cases though.
Obviously it won't be everyone's cup of tea, but we shouldn't call for the term to be abolished.
Just my opinion.

There you go using common sense again.

(Great idea!)

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, wine in the other screaming, "WOO HOO what a ride!!!

Love Sokal's artwork!

If he were ever to do that, I still think it would turn out to be a great game with great artwork as usual.
NO SOUP FOR YOU!
