Une jeune femme, fille d’un dictateur féroce, traverse tout le continent en compagnie d’un léopard, pour ramener ce dernier au lieu de sa naissance, les neiges du Kilimandjaro
"White Birds Productions' first project, 'Lost Paradise' is an adventure game which plunges the player into the heart of Africa, both timeless and yet modern. A young woman, daughter of a fierce dictator, travels the continent accompanied by a leopard in order to return it to the place of its birth - the snows of Kilimanjaro."
I get the impression that the leopard was born in Kilimanjaro and want to get home. ?
As you say Lucien, it's been a long time since I spoke french too. Yes, I'll buy this one even though the story line doesn't suck me in. I am quite a fan of Benoit Sokal's artwork. Actually, it may not even be released in Oz. I'm really going to have to buy via the internet. It scares me a bit, that's all.

Action/adventure... when will they finally bury this nonsensical, confusing term? Why not just tell us gamers if the game is a platformer with a few puzzles or a pure adventure game with some timed sequences?

Well, at this point I'd say that with games like Beyond Good and Evil action-adventure is a perfectly legitimate genre- there are always going to be borderline cases though. Obviously it won't be everyone's cup of tea, but we shouldn't call for the term to be abolished. Just my opinion.

(Great idea!)
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, wine in the other screaming, "WOO HOO what a ride!!!
