Deleted UserThis is it, folks, the biggest, toughest batch yet.  This will also be the final round in the competition.  Going into this critical round, the point standings are as follows:
Valadmin - 15
Dark Aya - 13
Lucien21 - 11
adventuredog - 6
anthony - 5
Daryl - 2
sennebec - 2
dombrewer - 2
Elfstone - 1

There will be some new rules changes for this final round.  Albums 1-12 will be worth 1 point.  Albums 13-20 are worth two points.  As usual, point values will be cut in half after clues are given.  Due to the huge gap between the top three competitors and the rest of the pack there will also be some special time limits!  The leader, Valadmin, may only answer albums 17-20 for the first 24 hours.  Dark Aya is limited to albums 17-20 for the first 20 hours.  And Lucien21 will be limited to those same albums for the first 16 hours. (Note that this is being posted just before midnight CST.)

Other than that, it is first come, first served.  Remember that you can't offer a second guess on the same album until your first guess on that album has been ruled on.

Have fun, and may the best forumite win!

btw wasn't #9 from the previous trivia supposed to be worth 2 pts, like 10-12 did? in that case i should have 13 pts now!

Deleted UserMy apologies, Aya.  I had you with 13 points on my tally sheet but typoed it as 12 and then missed the typo while proofreading.  It has been corrected.

And you are correct on all guesses, anthony.

Since I just happened to notice these now, I'll throw in the ones I know off the top of my head.  At least I'll be ahead of a few people for minute or two.

6.  Men at Work - Cargo
7.  Whitesnake - Slide It In
12.  Rush - Hemispheres

There, I got the easy ones.

Or go fishing. - MI2 &&Okay.   - Me

4. Queen's "A Night at the Opera"

No. 5 remains safe for the moment. There are two others that require some brain picking.  :-/

hey i protest! lucien is a great player and in the top of the standings, but he's getting an unfair 4/8 hours advantage! i think all three of us (lucien, Valerie and i) should have the same time restrictions...!

:-[ Two hours until I post the rest of the answers then and clean-up *insert Evil laugh*

You are right though it does give me an unfair advantage as I'm only a couple of points behind with 4 hours to catch up

Deleted UserNot to mention the fact that Lucien21 is a member of the other forum where this quiz was already posted once and could easily be getting the answers from there.  It certainly would explain someone coming up with two such completely obscure and different albums as Love Bomb and Beautiful Vision.

But Aya, I have to remind you of the following:
1. the top 3 players (this week: qrious, jerry and agustin) can ONLY guess pics 11-20 (and X) during the first 6, 4, 2 hours respectively

And it is true that you don't have to register in order to read the forum there.  Anyone who wanted to could bop over there and see the answers.  I don't know what fun that would be, but they could certainly do it.

Honestly never heard to The Tubes but the picture was a give away and Amazon's search facilty is pretty good.

And who doesn't know Van Morrison

And everyone has heard of Van Morrison, Lucien.  But that particular album sold all of about 30 copies. hehehe
