| Deleted User | Wow! These things makes great presents. My mother turns 50 tomorrow and I got her a signed photo by Andy Serkis with personal congratulations. And she doesn't even know I've met him! He couldn't dress up like in the movie though (for obvious reasons :) so I guess it was quite a different experience to meet this guy looking like that! We've all heard how the hobbit actors had to get up at four in the morning to get their feet glued on, but this poor fellow had to get up at ten in the evening the day before the filming to put on all of his makeup!
It would be amazing to try a makeup like that sometime and walking around in it just to see people's reaction. Imagine walking in to your boss' office in it and demanding a raise...
And hang on to that girlfriend of yours, MonkeyDude! She seems like an excellent choice.

| Deleted User | On a side note, did you notice that one of the orcs in ROTK was a woman? At least I'm 99% sure. It's the one with the helmet with a skull on it, that appears both when they start firing the catapults and when the black ships arrive. I know they had a woman in the stunt team that did lots of orcs, so I'm sure it was her. I rather liked the idea. Orcs don't have a use for sexes, but why would all have to be male just because of that? I guess it's just because it's as hard to think of female orcs as of female dwarves.

Status : Offline | I didn't notice during ROTK, but the copious documentaries on the DVD of TTT confirms it - she was orc-ing away at Helm's Deep with all the lads too.

Interestingly, that Lurtz guy plays another key orc in ROTK (that excellent photo is from FOTR). In ROTK, he's the exceptionally ugly one with the sort of cauliflower-looking head.
