hello,

This is my first post in the JA forum. I'm an adventure gamer from portugal (anymore here?) and it's great to see the forum working in this site that i found about six months ago. Unfortunately, here in portugal there arent many adventure games sold in stores (they never released here, for example, the longest journey - i asked a friend to buy it for me in a trip to the usa) and my collection its not very big. and for most of the games i just read their reviews in foreign sites, without the chance to play most of them. but enough of my sad story.

i would like to ask a question to the forum: what movie do you think would give the best adventure?

in my opinion, spielbergs AI would be a great game, i dont know if it has already been done.

What do you think?

sorry for my english and keep up the good work

A game based on "The Sixth Sense" would be pretty good (from the boys point of view, helping out tormented souls and resolving their unfinished business, etc).

the neverending story (done *properly*)
the nightmare before christmas
the game
the dark crystal
seven
the one -- and along those lines....
highlander
abre los ojos (vanilla sky was a bad remake)
zoolander (no really, this could be pretty funny)
the mask (the newer jim carrey version)

others, which are eluding me at the moment...

I think that in most cases it's better for a story to stick to the art form it was made in/for. Still, I wouldn't mind seeing a Highlander game
.

Blade Runner.

What? You mean it's been done? Oh.

Erm... In that case, Silence Of The Lambs

"
awn of The Dead" would make an ace game.
Also "The Simpsons" would be perfect for a point and click adventure.

Hey, Wolfboy, that's a good one.  How do you imagine the game? I suppose the main character would be Agent C. Starling, but it might be pretty interesting  to alternate between her and Hannibal Lecter (he is not that bad, you know?  :
and, after all, he was really helpful!
)

Deleted UserIn one of my never ending quests for games for the Schedule of Releases I read about something based on The Highlander - probably a year + ago.  I think that it was in development by Kalisto and I am fairly certain that it was cancelled.  Too bad.  The Highlander would be a great character and storyline for an action/adventure game.

Star Wars, because its Star Wars for heaven's sake.  Look how well the Star Trek games worked and how good "Secret of Vulcan Fury" looked.

Escape from New York or Event Horizon. Or something claustrophobic like that.
