Is this so that you'll know what to buy me?...

Main ones are Neverhood, Quivering, Creature Crunch, and Grim...

Something else that I want that's not an Adventure is the MST3K: Volume 1 4 DVD set...yeah...
~rbeeler SVT  &&Name's STooGE$$$$ Valpurgius TNT; it's not PLURAL&&&&151.Generally speaking Sludge Doomsters are Angry, Gothic doomsters are sad, funeral doomsters are barely breathing, death doomsters are dirty, drunk and dribbling, Stoner Doomsters don't care, drone doomsters are out of it and traditional Doomsters are permanently pissed off, mainly with other doomsters

Neverhood, naturally. Discworld Noir, Kings Quest Collection, Quest for Glory Collection, and Masterpieces of Infocom. Oh, and that MST3K set, thanks for reminding me!

(yeah i) wish list:

Parasite Eve 3 .... and the console it will be released on!

You have gotten the attention of the mysterious lady. She turns to face you. Her face is devoid of any flesh. You are frozen with horror as she begins ripping your body into a bloody mess.

Deleted UserIn Holland, we don't have Santa. We have Sinterklaas, a bishoppy kind of fellow, with a pointy hat and a horse.
He arrives by steamboat from Spain in the middle of november (he arrived last Saturday), and travels around giving small presents to children until the eve of his birthday (6 december), when he gives out the more expensive presents. He puts them in shoes instead of socks, and you must leave a carrot for his horse instead of a sherry (explaining why Dutch parents on the morrow of 6 december have orange bits between their teeth, and excellent eyesight).
Of course, like Santa, Sinterklaas is an anti-socialist and a capitalist pig so he gives to rich kids more expensive presents than he does to poor kids.
I fool him, though. I buy my own presents, and piss him off by leaving a note in my shoe saying: "no presents today, I bought my own. Please rerout intended presents to orphans".
And then the bugger takes all the credit, because I never receive a thank-you note from any orphan.

Anyway, I'm going to buy Syberia to put in my shoe.

hehe you caught me out. I emailed my mum this list:

Eye of the Kraken
Sanitarium
Syberia
Leisure Suit Larry 7

The top three I heard about from you guys. LSL7 I've been meaning to buy for ages but it slipped my mind.

Hey Mus, you're even funnier than Stooge

Btw, if you get Syberia as a present you'll want to pursuit Sinterklaas all the way to Spain and smash him to dust

...na, he's my apprentice and learning the intricate ways of humor...I'm giving him the floor so that he can train..

He is getting good though...One day I might, just might have to step down...when I'm a very, very old woman...

PS. Mus that was pretty good though...

Hell yea...but I don't think Santa or his elves can make them; they don't have enough electricity up there to turn on a toaster let alone program these games...

Then I have a trick up my sleeve. Very bad boys are put in Sinterklaas' sack (then empty of presents) and taken to Spain by our saint (no tales have ever come back describing their ultimate fate). He'll probably take me this year. I'll jump out and force him to play every game in the Hall of Shame (he probably has loads of them in his toy-factory).

You mean my final assignment will be pulling off a practical joke, bribing the surgeon when you'll have your tonsils taken out ?  ???

Garsh, where do I begin? Umm... Syberia, I guess, is highest on my list at the moment, for current games.  For older games, Rent-a-Hero is highest on my list.

If I were to list *all* of items on my wishlist, I might run out of space on JA's server. Har.

Uh Mus, don't forget about Black Pete

As I do not have a chimney Sinterklaas will probably not be able to pay my house a visit.
But just in case he is listening, I would like one Tony Tough please, thank you very much...

To be honest, after reading a review and looking at some screenshots of that game, I really waited for something great from Rent-A-Hero. Unfortunately, the disappointment to follow was enormous.
The game's short, easy (you can only carry about 2 or 3 items at the time from which many can't be used at all), quite boring, illogical (like some new items appear on previously visited places after you've heard something about them) and it includes an IMPOSSIBLE pixel search (that item isn't actually seen before you accidently click on the right spot). Plus you don't get any hints about what to do next and there're also no characters to ask/discuss things with, only some repeating boring conversations.
So there, I personally think that the makers of the game could've done a way better game with the same graphics.

Hi all,
I want the new ones.  I'm giving Santa a head start, already started buying some myself.  I want

-Post Mortem (already have Syberia)
-Dark Fall (still don't have it, I want it!)
-The Cameron Files: The Pharoah's Curse
-Sherlock Holmes and the Curse of the Mummy
-Rhem
-Harvest
-Riddle of the Spinx 2: the Omega Stone (it's going to be out in December, isn't it?)
-The Watchmaker
-Tony Tough

I gave Santa head start, just got "Full Moon in San Franciso".  Maybe I'll buy a few more, before Santa comes.

Also want a couple of older games
-Amber
-Riddle of the Spinx (the original)
Could probably name some more, but I'll stop here.

I know it's not the "golden age of adventure games", per some of you grumpy adventurers,  but I think it's a great time to be an adventure gamer!

I have also been broadening my horizens with regards to adventure games.  I didn't think I would like "funny" games, but I am loving Full Moon in San Francisco!

All for now.

Regards, mszv

I already know how they look: they have multiple organ pipes, and they have to play loudly, because people object to the sexual undertone.

Hmmm, trying to combine these items gets me a bloody finger and stills my hunger  ??? Oh no, I ate two-thirds of my inventory. Hope I won't need them later on; dead end looming.

JoY wrote:

With this intercontinental audience that would probably require too much explaining. I'll stick to the bishop
.

I forgot to mention Escape from MI. I'll probably add that to the shoe-filling stuff.

'Black Pete', it's hilarious!! You guys out there must think we dutch are absolutely mad! To make matters worse, we also have our Sinterklaassongs. I can assure you, you should be very happy we only export cheese and flowers. Songs like 'See the moon shining through the trees' (very loosely translated) should never go beyond the dutch borders (allthough I think that Stooge might appreciate them
).

Let me say that if Sinterklaas gets us all (with or without a chimney) a copy of Tony Tough, I will be a believer again! And if he could use his influence on getting us a new Monkey Island, a real Indy-adventure and, okay, benefit of the doubt, GK4, I would probably sing any song! With the right words!
