| Deleted User | Try Silent Hill 1 or 2: It's a differend kind of adventure, but better in my opinion.
Phantasmagoria 1 or 2: same style as GK2, only not as good as, but gorier then GK2.
Perhaps GK1 and GK3 are your best options: GK1 is a cartoon style adventure with great story, great graphics (bird view, static) en much fun point and click adventure GK3 is a third/first person adventure. One of the greatest atmosphere, story and gameplay. Big treat.

If it doesn't have to be an FMV game you Syberia and TLJ are good games.

Status : Online | I started replaying The Riddle of Master Lu and the graphics style resembles GK2´s one exquisitely. The FMV cut scenes are of similar quality as well.
FMV character models moving in photographed (and drawn) locations. Reaction Shots and most of the actions (opening doors, manipulating items) are shown in small extra screens, popping up here and there, which is a great way to draw you into the game and the identification with the Ripley character benefits from it either. The story revolves around an ancient Far-Eastern mystery.

Jo was the first who noticed, as you can see clearly from her post.
Also, in the last few days, Romnut is getting a reputation for bringing threads back from the dead.
