And I also backup Inland's choice

Status : Online | Yeah, Noctropolis (even with its flaws in the plot) is truly a great game!
I also enjoyed a great time with Ark of Time, and it's one of my top 20 games, even with the bad acting of the mainchar, and some craziness of the plot...
Also from Trecision, sadly gone I think, The Watchmaker is a IMO a remarkable game, but got some mixed reviews (don't kow why, I cannot fault that game)

underrated adv games? hundreds!
You have gotten the attention of the mysterious lady. She turns to face you. Her face is devoid of any flesh. You are frozen with horror as she begins ripping your body into a bloody mess.

I just love this game! I definitely think this is Al Lowe's best game. It was just soooo hilarious. Unfortunately not that many people agree with me on this one. I've seen some brutal reviews of the game and it also didn't sell enough for Sierra to develop a sequel.
And I agree on Lighthouse. Great game!

Here's another shocker: Mystery of the Druids
Space Quest 6 I liked it, especially the last part in you-will-know-what-I-mean.
Woodruff and the Schnibble of Azimuth One of the funniest and creative (plus wacky) adventures ever. Should be on budget for 1$ or something. Get it if you haven't already.
playing: Destination Treasure Island (done in two sittings, but it's nice), Syberia (ho-hum), Dracula: Last Sanctuary (on hold)&&reading: even more study papers&&listening to: this and that, plus Musicovery&&TV favorites: (currently) Pushing Daisies, Chuck, Journeyman (cancelled! grrr...), Heroes&& all-time) 24, Stargate SG1, X-Files, Lost, House

| Deleted User | While underrated adventures are on my mind, another two splendid games are:
Normality
and
Realms of the haunting.
This latter game somehow managed to blend action and adventure in a superb way such as I've not seen since.

Its not the winning the losing or the taking part that counts. Its the way you cheat.

The Dagger of Amon Ra is a beautifully designed game, don’t know why most people don’t like it (at least as much as I like it).

Those Coktel people sure knew how to mess with your mind
Freddy Pharkas is another that many people seemed to miss.

You are definatly right, It had a lot of falts but I have played it 4 times now and I still like it. I think it was the story that held it all together because that was about all it had going for it.
As far as underrated games my choice would be the Tex Murphy games. They were all a lot better than some people give them credit for and are still my foverite games.
