I can't play Tex:UAKM from win98 (I'm dual booting win98 and win xp) so i made a dos boot disk. The boot disk seems to install the mouse and soundblaster drivers,  i can install the game from my cd-rom in dos also. But when I type moon.exe or tex3.exe the computer just reboots. No errors, just a beep and a reboot.  I've been trying to get this to run for two days now (and I mean two full days, at least 20 hours now...) I'm not a computer expert, but I do know how to edit autoexec.bat and config.sys. If you have any ideas, please let me know before I tear out the rest of my hair! Thanks, Amoreena

Deleted UserTry not typing the ".exe" extension.  Once you are in the Moon directory (or whichever it is) try just typing "moon" and see if that does the trick.

I got UAKM to run in Windows 98 by changing the properties of the moon.exe shortcut.

Just checking "prevent MS-DOS applications from detecting Windows" did the trick.
