Hey, I just read this today and was very surprised, but a bunch of you probably already knew this. What well-known Sierra adventure game was made into a Nintendo (the original Nintendo) game?

I will not say it so this thread can last a while

It was also the first game from Sierra to make full use of the VGA card and the first one that got a talkie cd version.

the first one that got a talkie cd version

i didn't know the answer but that hint was enough
i won't say it though

You have gotten the attention of the mysterious lady. She turns to face you. Her face is devoid of any flesh. You are frozen with horror as she begins ripping your body into a bloody mess.

Deleted UserI too know the answer, but will refrain from saying it  in the interest of making this thread longer.  Therefore my posting here is of no concern to anyone and should be ignored immediatly, so why are you still reading it?

Incidentally, am I alone in thinking that this was an abysmal decision to port the game to the NES?

It is, I believe, but I thought Mixed-Up Mother Goose Deluxe was the first "talkie." It was the first multimedia CD, that much I'm certain of.

Lucasart's 'Maniac Mansion' was a smash hit on the NES when it was ported. Even though they did remove the chainsaw, blood on the walls, and the ominous hamster-in-the-microwave feature...

Maybe you're right. I'll check that.

It isn't Maniac Mansion if it doesn't has a chainsaw!!

Rise of the Dragon and Dracula Unleashed were also ported to the Sega CD system.  I believe Heart of China was in the works too but was never released.  Shadowgate, The Uninvited and Deja Vu were all released on the NES.
eja Vu II was also developed for the NES but I don't think it was released either.  Lastly, King's Quest I was ported to the Sega Master System.  It was icon based if I recall correctly.  Here's a couple pics: http://www.vgmuseum.com/images/sms/01/kings.html
