Yeah, that's correct. Some problems with Sony.

It will be on Xbox and PC in North America.  Sony in North America does not want adventure games unless they are from established console companies like Capcom or Konami.  This will eventually change.

Puh-thooey! Guess I'd better start saving up them pennies for an Xbox.
Like I really need a reason to buy another console.)

Deleted UserNo problems in Europe, of course.

As we all know Europe is more adventure minded then America (more FPS minded) and Japan (more RPG minded).

That's why BS3, Syberia and all others are in Europe on PS2 as well.

Hm....but if I buy a British version, it will still run on my American PS2, right?

Eh, I was planning to buy the PC version anyway--it should be cheaper.

The british version is PAL so it won`t work on a NTSC(american) ps2 without chipping it.

I was planning on getting it for the playstation 2 because i thought it might be easier with the direct control, but I guess it's the pc version now, unless i want to buy an Xbox.

There is an adapter for the PC that allows you to use the PS2 joypad for PC games.

Better yet, get a Thrustmaster Firestorm Dual Power joypad for the PC - much better quality than the PS2 dualshock. But note - for both of these, the PC game itself needs to support gamepads, or you won't be able to use them (unless you can get the thrustmaster mouse and keyboard-emulation software to work, which I couldn't be bothered with)...

Thanks for the tips. I will probably buy a joypad to play it with, I imagine BS3 will support them considering it's a multi-platform release.

Dang.  We've got a chip on the PS1 but not the PS2.

Oh, well.  Thanks for the info.
