Status : Online | I'm struggling through this game since May 2002! I just can't get into it ...and I really like Egyptology. It will probably go onto my GameTZ page when I'm done. Have you checked out the Dreamcatcher Website? Isn't it a dreamcatcher game??? Inferno

Status : Online | Hello Alistair,
Riddle of the Sphinx, some of the Nancy Drew titles and other US imports are available to buy in the UK from :
http://www.edream.co.uk
Click "games", then "investigative adventures"......
They often release a colour brochure in the magazine Computer Active.
Good luck!

If you want to order Missing you might want to check for the name "in memoriam". Which is the original name for this game. It's available on for instance amazon.co.uk So is Jack the Ripper.

Alistair,
******** WELCOME to Just Adventure + ! ********
I'm also in the UK. 'Riddle of the Sphinx' has been out a while, and was originally in UK stores, such as Electronics Boutique. It's very unlikely to appear there again.
Your best bets are definitely GameTZ and eBay, where it will sell for, on average, around £18 to £24 in mint condition. You may well get it for less, as there's a serious slump in demand for adventure games on eBay at present, with few games attaining the selling prices of three months ago. Prices will, I hope personally, improve (upwards), as I'm a regular seller there.
As far as Myriex's recommendation of DVDBoxOffice, is concerned, I can whole heartedly endorse the recommendation. I know of only a few people who have experienced any negative issues, and postage IS free. I've bought several games from them.
There are a couple of other sources I can recommend, but, if you're sheepish about eBay, I'd go the DVDBoxOffice or GameTZ routes if I were you. You can use GameTZ on a trial basis to begin with, and, if you're a serious, or potentially serious, adventure game player, you'll be missing out on an excellent resource if you don't utilise it fully.
I'd be interested to know whta approach you decide to take. Good luck Alistair !
