Status : Online | thanks everyone...but once again im at a stand still...(im a greenhorn at these adventure games if you havent noticed)...i got out of the storage shed..( bar was behind the barrel)...went to the next room, looked at things but found nothing for inventory, went up the mountain and saw the curator and moria...started going down and SPLAT!! (many times)...i loaded up a previous screen but didnt find the pulley or anything else. so...how in the world do i get passed this ugly old dude??LOL

Status : Online | Just one splat, I did several splats over and over.
Okay, as soon as you see him and the clock starts running turn around, and go to your left (I recall the rocks were darker there. Since I have no sense of direction, try turnaround and left forward first and then right if left didn't work.

Status : Online | I went SPLAT lots of times. Had to even show my husband!. It was FUN!. Yeah. you basically will hide from him, going back up towards the left when your back is to the bad guy (not the exact same way you came) then you can move freely again. The bad guy goes away.

Status : Online | desperado is right, only thing I am not sure, if opening the little box in your inventory triggers you getting the pulley on the boat. You won't take anything out.
How many beatles do you have? :-/

And Wingnutt you are doing great in this game! I am an advid adventure gamer and you are getting stuck at the same places I am. So you are doing just fine!. I only didnt' need help hidding from that guy because I as I was initially exploring and walked up that 'hiding' area, I remembered thinking that it would be a good place to hide. Figured that was the only reason for it.

When you were back in the room with the five doors (2 on each side) and the one you went through to the coffin, did you go back and pick up the anhk in each of the four doors that had closed again before going into the coffin room and before the fog?
Guess what you need and I hope you saved just before then, which I didn't do the first time.
Did you find the yellow beetle, I don't know of anyone who found it.

Edit: cancel that. I got through the gas room. Now am figuring out the order to use the cross things in on the stairs (yes, I have all of them). Don't see where the hint is for the order.
The key to the small box is found on the island, not on the boat. Look in every corner. I beleive you do need to open that box in your inventory before you can get the pully on the small boat.
You dont' need all 3 beetles before you move on to the next area. You'll need to get the final beetle 'before' you go down into the tomb. It is in that area.

Status : Online | Put on the goggles. In your stuff you should have a parchment showing some symbols and figures walking.
In the red ankh book is the answer to how to count what degree to be on.
Then use the goggles to get on the right degree say 270 and then click the amount of figures for that degree, say 6 figures=6 clicks
Then do that with each of the lines on the parchment. egree point and how many clicks.
Do in order as the parchment shows.
Hind sight is to figure it all out before you ever get in the place but........I don't think you will die as long as you have the goggles on while figures out the codes, I didn't. Of course, I did die a few times because I forgot all about the goggles in my inventory.
Hope that makes some sense.

I die so many times in this game. Good game, I liked it.
