Hi, I'm brand new to this site and I saw snowman's post-thanks so much-for Enter the matrix.  I went to amazon.com and now the rebate is $40 and free shipping.  So you end up paying nothing.  I guess even the worst game is worth nothing!

Weird, are you sure?
They can't give away free games and pay for the postage for very long.

It's true, I just checked it out. The game is $39.99 with a $40.00 mail in rebate if you buy by August 16 and the game does qualify for free shipping in the USA.

They actually had the same thing for Lord of the Rings a few months ago, $39.99 with a $40.00 rebate.

Thanks for the tip wachtarz!

Doesn't seem like it, that's two very new and expensive games.  And I'd be cheaper to throw it away btw.

If you order 100 Enter the Matrix you get a buck. :

Yeah, I don't know what it is. Every so often they'll put out rebates on games that will bring the price down to around $10.00 or sometimes even free as in this case. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it, you just have to check the games you're interested in every so often.  ???

Maybe the do the biggest rebates on games that aren't selling well  ???

I'm a bit confused about this mail in rebate.  I went to Amazon.com and typed in Enter The Matrix in the search bar.  Went to buy it, and nowhere did the site give mention about the $40 mail in rebate?  Can someone clue me in as to where to access this part?  Thanks!

Sorry Lakerz, it looks like they're sold-out of the rebate copies, since the rebate is no longer there. Normally, once you pick the platform and the price is displayed, it will have a link that will take you to a printable version of the rebate form.

With that link no longer being there I can only surmise that they've run out of copies.

Ah, that makes sense.  Thanks for explaining that.  I thought I was just being dumb because I couldn't get the rebate to appear!

Friday probably bought all 500.00 copies with the .01 "pay you to take this game away" special and bought himself a car.
