If I listed my favourites you'd lock me away in an looney bin. Absolutely no one admits to even KNOWING the kind of music I like, let alone listening to it.

There are just too many good songs to only choose one.

LOL, I could never dream that someone here would like SA. Thanx Sarah :-*
Right now I'm listening to "Omen Sinistrum" by SA. It's one of the tracks I've kept repeating the last days.
If had to chose a Swedish song It'd an Opeth track, it's hard to decide, maybe The Moor, Black rose immortal or Wreath.
Seems like Sarah deleted her post or something (maybe the apocalypse bug)?

Frankly speaking, I don't listen to local songs that much. But I do listen to one particular artist. The song is entitled " Bukan Cinta Biasa" by Siti Nurhaliza. I'd listen to this once in several months.
Take a peek.
Friday, it's my pleasure :-*. I ranted too much in there so I had to delete it. This is a new one.

Resistance is not futile, we're gonna win this thing, humankind is too good, we're not a bunch of under-achievers! We're gonna stand up, and we're gonna be human beings. We're going to get fired up about the real things, the things that matter! Creativity, and the dynamic human spirit that refuses to submit.

Except Rammstein, these are mostly English lyrics. I wonder whether people notice how strange Rammstein's lyrics are or not...

I'm thinking...I don't know many Dutch bands. Krezip is the only one which comes to mind right now.

At the moment we are being plagued by the results of our version of Idols. A medicore winner who has trouble singing and a number two who really can't sing. (***sigh***)

But I used to like Krezip for a while. They sound a bit like Guano Apes (the female lead singer has a beautiful voice if she wants to) or Die Happy (another German band), but softer. The sort of crossover music tends to become boring after a short time.

Favorite song from the USA: Maybelle, by Ida, from their album Will You Find Me.
Also, Movie, by His Name Is Alive, from Stars on E.S.P.
I guess it's a tie. Don't listen to many native bands but Ida and HNIA are definite faves.
