you have to love 'em. i owe my first belly laugh of the day to this.  enjoy.
Its boring, there isn't any action at all. You walk around picking up things and using them with other items. You walk around and use the item on something. Walking around and talking to people is really lame, what about some shooting or something~APuddleduck&&

I must be really strange - I actually enjoyed that game even though there wasn't any shooting( does the duel count?) AND I found it amusing. I guess I need professional help... :

Nice one

I clicked on the guys user name in hope to find some other "gems" but he just wrote two more
(about non-adventure games
)

@ psybafire

You probably should add the game´s title Curse of Monkey Island to your sig,
so that, in a couple of months, everyone still knows what it is about

This review made me think about how people often say "its so crappy" when then dont understand a book or a film or anything else.

To those insecure folk:There is nothing wrong about not understanding something! just dont pass it off as someone elses error. play, watch or read it again if you can be bothered. if its not for you then its not for you, as long as someone somewhere is happy playing it then a game can never be crap- even jack orlando. well, maybe not
.

This combined with his "mark every game really low to look elite and cultured" approach makes his stuff pretty entertaining- the poor lad thinks that the point and click interface is there because the developers didnt know how to program direct control or write a story clever enough to do the shooting game genre any justice!

he still makes me grin tho' because he will soon realise, soooo tharr be hope in me heart

Well golly! This makes me want to write a review of the latest FPS and slam it for requiring the keyboard. Weren't the designers good enough to make it controllable by mouse only? What a poorly designed game!

Oh dear, no shooting in an adventure game. Mortal sin!

Seriously, do ya think he understands anything about the genre 'adventure game'?

Surprisingly, the other two games he reviewed also received very low scores, whilst the average score given by other reviewers were fairly high.

Also read his Rayman review, not only doesn't he grasp the concept of adventure games, platform games are a mystery to him as well

All you do is walk around collecting little things called tings and smashing cages. You just need to jump across platforms and not hit the water.
*snip*
There are some stupid mini games here as well which make you jump around collecting things in an incredibly short time limit. It's crazy and I don't know why it's there!

I know why it's in there.. do you?

What a tough life to live, all this spare time and no games in existence decent enough to play.

LOL
He can't be serious. Otherwise he must be stupid or doesn't know what adventure games are.
But I really think he's not serious.
