Comments on The Arrival The Arrival
Its set up in space. Made after a movie. The story is thin as a paper sheet.
Well it is not "Syberia" but the graphics is ok, considering. You walk alone most of the time except for few occations when you meet other life forms.
On the game box it said to be different outcomes. How ever there is only one, if you dont count the times were you can die.
You can chose to play with "timing" or not. Its the full screen puzzles that are timed. Solve the puzzle in time or die.
The "full screen" puzzles dont have anything to do with the story it self, they are just there for "the puzzle" and to move on. There is one music puzzle, a bit tricky. There is also a maze which is "a bit over the edge", but I have defenetly seen worse. The other puzzles are finding and using things and solve "others" problems.
Playing time about 20, depending on your experience.
I give it an overall score of 2 out of 5. Actually it should be 1,5 but since I dont use ,5 in my scorings it gets 2/5.
Despite the low score I had a fairly good time. At least I dont regret playing it.
