Status : Online | It's easy to classify: Turn based strategy. I have played JA and JA2 as well as other games in that category (UFO, Incubation).
I have to say that JA2 is my favorite though, probably because it's the only realistic one and JA2 had tons of guns That and being able to modify things yourself, made it very interesting.
I wish they'd make another, but they had big problems finding publishers for JA2 so I don't think they will.

Status : Online | Turn based stratgy? - yeah that works i'll add to my jargon.
I'm sorry to tell you that there is very little chance of JA3 ever coming out since sir-tech (the compant that deeloped JA1 and 2) closed or was it telonsoft (yhe other company that developed them) - anyhoow one of them closed.
i just thought of another good turn based stratgy (using it already) game - "X- com"all but the 3rd which i didn't like)

Status : Online | It was a sweet game, almost half-strategy half-RPG. I really thought it was too hard, though. Even on easy, once I got 60% or so through the game, things just got so damn hard, I'd have to spend hours on each mission because my guys would get butchered and I"d have to change strategies 50 times. It was a real dissapointment, because I really loved the gameplay.

Status : Online | I finished the game on hard and it was rather hard  took me about a month to finish the game). I don't know how you played but the main thing to remmeber in my opnion is who you hire - at the begining i hire two good marksman (usually buns and Igor) and a doctor. since the cheap mercs are beginers they improve quickly through training.
So if you'll ever feel like playing the game again maybe that will help you.

Status : Online | I'll have to check it out then. I did see JA 2 Gold in stores a while ago, maybe it's still there.
Sir-Tech was the company that closed a while ago. They were also the developer of the Wizardry series.

I went by the store today and saw that there were still several gold editions available. They go for eur 8.99 here, that's about usd 10.50

Status : Offline | I personally thought JA2 was very average . Why ?? Not my style , nor taste of gameplay .
