Deleted UserG, you don't know The Secret Of Mana?

It's an old SNES RPG. Kinda like a better Zelda. You could probably download it with an emu if you do a search on Google...

GK2 and Indiana Jones and the fate of Atlantis (the amiga version).  :-*

I also liked the old C64-games with the classical tunes in a relatively impressive beeping sound. Often brings a smile to my face when I hear the original

Fate of Atlantis? Aaaah, I don't know...maybe but it didn't have something THAT special. Maybe because it's been years since I last played it :-/.

I love the GK1 soundtrack. When I was about 10 or 11 and first playing it, I thought that opening music was the coolest thing since sliced bread. I still get a little nostalgic every time I hear Gabriel, Mosley, and Malia's theme. I also get a little carried away whenever I hear the midi version of the girl in the tower theme from KQ6... not that it's a terrific song, but it brings back a deluge of memories.

Edit: Oh yeah, I also have the exile CD, which would be good if it weren't for the singers singing in the d'ni language. It just makes it sound dorky, like people singing in klingon or elvish.

I've got to go with the Star Wars games as well...
Grim Fandango, Curse of Monkey Island definitely, some tracks from those games I need to burn to CD, portions of all the Myst games. I might include the music in Tristram in Diablo if it had been lengthed somewhat, and wasn't so repetitive.

Gabriel Knight 1 was pretty good, especially if you consider it was MIDI. I'd love to see it redone with real instruments.

And Secret of Mana....I had to download the rom and replay it to recall what the music was like. Excellent for a video game, and I think I will have to replay it the whole way through, it's been a long time.

Gran Turismo -- not my type of music, but great for playing a driving game.

Grim Fandango is the only soundtrack I actually listen to while not playing the game.  It's wonderful.  In fact, I think I'll listen to it now since it was brought up.

Since there have been a couple of mentions of GK1, I remember it being pretty good (I liked it in the credits especially) but the only part that I really remember well is the creepy version of Old Macdonald Had a Farm that is played in the room with all of the animals stored for sacrifices.  That part cracked me up.

Or go fishing. - MI2 &&Okay.   - Me

By soundtracks, it doesn't have to mean a separate cd you would buy and listen to.  Just music in a game that you thought was good.
