Been doing a little collecting lately:

Titanic: Andventure Out of Time
Phantasmagoria
Phantasmagoria 2
Black Dahlia
The Neverhood (finally!)
The Dig
Zork Legacy Collection
X-Files
Pandora Directive
Under a Killing Moon
Temujin
Road to India
Prince of Persia 3D

It's funny....until now I only had two FMV game...GK2 and Overseer...now i have 9... wasn't planned, as some of the games were in lots on eBay and were not the primary objective

... e.g. I paid $8.99 for a lot to get Titanic which i really wanted...but also got Temujin, The Dig, and Zork Legacy collection, as well as the original Myst and Quake.  Nice huh?

That which makes one happy is not a waste of time

My! Gamaholic, you have acquired so many great games in such a short period of time!

Personally, Titanic: Adventure Out of Time is probably one of my least favorite of the ones on your list(s) in this topic, much preferring Black Dahlia, Under a Killing Moon,  or even Road to India.

I am currently playing Nancy Drew #7: Ghost Dogs of Moon Lake, and enjoying it much more than Nancy Drew #3: Message in a Haunted Mansion.

Hopefully, I will find Nancy Drew #6: Secret of the Scarlet Hand soon, as Ray Ivey gave Scarlet Hand an "A", and gave Haunted Mansion and Ghost Dogs scores of "B-" and "B", respectively.

I'm into playing 1st Person quiet "slideshow" games right now, since my tummy doesn't feel too good... :-X

Tried to make myself even sicker by attempting to install - upon a friends' insistence - Silverload, but I have to do some autoexec.bat file configuration since the graphics are corrupted. Maybe later.

Please proofread your posts carefully to see if you any words out.

What didn't you like about Titanic?  I haven't heard much about it, I just very interested in the topic.

I have all the Nancy Drews...the only one i've played to completion so far is Haunted Mansion which was very good...I'm looking forward to Haunted Carousel..

Speaking of one's tummy not feeling so good...I'm well aware that Phantasmagoria 1 and 2 are to be played when i'm feeling very brave and in very good health tummy-wise.

That which makes one happy is not a waste of time

Just went to Best Buy today & got --

Escape from Monkey Island
Grim Fandango

Both had price tags that said $9.99, but GF rang up $1.99.
I love it when stuff like that happens.

Despite it's mediocre reviews, I had to get MI b/c I have the first three and just have to finish out the series.   :
But on the opposite end, GF seems to be on everybody's playlists, so I decided it was time to check it out.

I had a revelation last night where I realized if an adventure game is really cheap, I should buy it while I can, because soon I won't be able to find it in stores anymore!

I miss my Bubba: 1986 - 2006.

I'm waiting for Syberia 2 and Myst 4 and future worlds looks interesting....   I think I need another set of shelves...

Gayle, I agree with you about The Ring. It was very good.
Wagner performed by Sir George Solti and the London Symphony, plus great drawings that were very futuristic and imaginative.

But I hated the noisy  little sidekick in the motorcycle

A rarish Russian game, by Auric Vision. English voiceacting. It's listed by Pagoda, but JA is the only site that paid attention to it. Cheap too.
Arrived this morning. Played it for about an hour, which is something I often do with new arrivals. Fell in love with it straightaway. Weird, zany, different, unique, wow!
Monet will have to wait.

Back to work, have to earn more money to buy more great games.
