They had a similar problem a few days ago and then Marek explained what had happened. It was a rather technical explanation, so I didn't really understand it. :-[
Anyway, i hope they can fix the problem soon. I already miss the site!

Status : Online | Our server was severely hacked by some crazy freelancer over the weekend. He was kicked off, and then the server was taken down for a while yesterday to install some new protection. Things are still down, and we're not exactly sure whether the hacker has broken back in, or what's going on. Marek and I hear all this third- and fourth-hand, so I may not always have the most current information.
In any case, literally we could be back up any second, or down indefinitely (and I mean weeks or months, if the worst-case scenario really comes to pass). If I hear any more, I'll let you know here. We apologize, and hope you believe that we're as frustrated as anyone!

are you saying that someone who was working for the server company hacked the servers? If that's the case, then the server company needs to do better background checks.

- Evan Mixnmojo got hacked a few days ago. It might be it now as well... I'm not 100% sure, though.

We (www.adventuredevelopers.com) are also hosted on their server.

So that some dork with no friends can leave his/her calling card saying "bigstupiddork was here". That stuff pisses me off. Well, all crime does really cause it all seems pointless to me. Shooting a person for just for the loose change in their pockets, etc. etc. I know this hints at bigger social issues in our world and there are no easy answers. Bottom line is I hope adventuregamers is able to get their site back up with minimal loss.

AdventureGamers.com, Mixnmojo.com, and AdventureDevelopers.com are all on the same server, which is why all the sites are still down.
A new server was purchased, I think. And I really thought it was going to come back up this morning, but it's not, and I am clueless why. What do I know, I'm just an editor. I really, really, REALLY hope we're back up tomorrow, but it's just hope at this point.

Too bad that AdventureGamers has been down for several days, but not to blame any of the web/forummasters for that luckily
Lets hope it will be back up soon...

No problem, Firefoot!
And for now, just hang around here and you might find yourself as addicted to this place as to adventuregamers! I know I did!
By the way: there's a rather big group of Dutchies over here, as you'll soon find out!

Resistance is not futile, we're gonna win this thing, humankind is too good, we're not a bunch of under-achievers! We're gonna stand up, and we're gonna be human beings. We're going to get fired up about the real things, the things that matter! Creativity, and the dynamic human spirit that refuses to submit.
