The good news: ive bought it from e-bay last night, it cost be about 2 quid more but its better then playing a full 20 for it at GAME.

: "Not for me. I always envision the character in first person games to be an 18 year old boy. Don't ask me why this happens. It's weird. Even in the Nancy Drew games I imagine the character to be a boy. Then Nancy opens his mouth and this woman's voice comes out. It's disturbing"

you make a really intresting point. your post really gripped my brain for some reason. its inexplicable stuff like this that keeps me playing adventures. the expectations you bring to it.
i dont really know how to phrase what i mean here, but theres something magical about the genre as a whole. for me the thought of kitches(sp) island in broken sword 2 makes me feel so contented and happy (but sad in a way because that life is out of my grasp), everyone here prob' dosnt have a clue what im on about but i cant describe it, its not even an atmospehe- its so much more intense then that. no exageration, when i think about this part of the game its nearly on par with the feeling i had when i first knew i loved my girlfriend. this is prob' because its the first adventure i played, and for the first time in my life i realised that there is a world waiting, and dependnt on me when this one become to **** for me to manage. and it wont poison me like other, lesser forms of escapism.

wow that was off topic, sorry folks

i hope the myst gameworld games me this feeling.and for those who asked my top 5 (or so) games are....
TLJ(suprisingly)
syberia (the short ones are the best IMO
)
gabrial knight 3
broken sword 2
sanitarium

and i thank you all for your advice and comments and stuff.XXXX :-*

Its boring, there isn't any action at all. You walk around picking up things and using them with other items. You walk around and use the item on something. Walking around and talking to people is really lame, what about some shooting or something~APuddleduck&&
