And here's an easy lil' one for ya...
'Tween marble walls, white as milk, Lined with a skin as soft as silk, Within a fountain, crystal clear, A golden apple doth appear. No doors or locks has this stronghold, Yet thieves break in, and steal the gold.
...and one a bit more difficult:
We are airy little creatures, All of different voice and features; One of us in glass is set, One of us you'll find in jet, T'other you may see in tin, And the fourth a box within. If the fifth you should pursue, It can never fly from you.

The 'quality of solving tough riddles' should be on every woman's wish list .

Ah, that's what I was doing wrong -- trying to form a word from letters taken from each word, neglecting the "in" part. Vowels -- of course! A-E-I-O-U!

Men like us when we hum Women like us when we're pretty We prefer open spaces But most of us live in the city As with our short history Our average life is but a blink Usually we're female Only once a week do we drink

BTW, you got any riddles, Malia??
A friend of mine told me this one a few weeks ago, and I just loved it (I'd say it has a medium difficulty): "Something very extraordinary happened on the 6th of May, 1978 at 12:34 a.m. What was it?"
Now, riddlers of the world, sing with me: "I've been working on my neurons, All the livelong day. I've been working on my neurons, Just to make my dendrites play"
